Sometimes there’s too much autobiography. A cardiologist sees only heart conditions, a neurologist only maladies of the brain.

But, when you specialize in treating galaxies, you tend to take in the bigger picture.

This is not a C2E2 report

This is not a full report of the C2E2 convention. Because I wanted to do that as a cool autobio comic with the pictures that I took and some drawings and things. But comics take time, you see, and school continues to stomp on my time like Super Mario stomps on walking mushrooms.
And why Mario? The Goombas only kill you if you're not paying attention, and it's not like you don't already have multiple lives you immortal Italian Plumber Highlander-esque freak.

President Dracula

President Steve Dracula: "A Better Wampyr for Wampyrians."

One billed as a reformer of the Wampyrian government, President Dracula has moved to a policy of interplanetary aggression unlike any since his notorious ancestor, the Count, was exiled, and the monarchy dismantled, over 1000 years ago.

Might this be the beginnings of a new Wampyrian Empire? Only time, and cool splodey space battles, will tell.

Vampironaut Print

A print I drew that will be for sale at Onyx Con, August 15 in Atlanta, and online sometime thereafter, once we get a prints store set up.

Vampironaut is a series I'm working on putting together with our Eye Trauma partner in crime Dann Tincher. Vampire astronaut y'all.

POSTING UP IN THE ATL!

So, ONYX Con is coming to Atlanta,GA on the 14th and 15th of August (courtesy of brother Joseph Wheeler III ). If you haven't heard, it is a comic book/pop culture convention dedicated (not solely, but mostly) to showcasing the amazing array of excellent work produced by African American comics artists,illustrators, and cartoonists.

Not to be left out of the merch-fest..Damian and I have decided to sell posters along with copies of THE HOLE: CONSUMER CULTURE vol. 1.

Here are the examples of posters we designed and I illustrated that are destined for the shill...one is of some of the characters from THE HOLE..the other is of a character that Damian created called STONEYE JACKSON...he is not to be *&?#!!ed with. Shut yo mowth!!
